About Meena Lama

Meena Lama is a Kathmandu-based museologist, researcher, and curator with over a decade of experience at the intersection of heritage, art, and museology. She has worked with some of Nepal’s most respected museums and cultural institutions, contributing to exhibitions and research that highlight both traditional and contemporary art. With a strong academic foundation in Buddhist collections and museum studies, Meena brings deep insight and care to every project.
At the Himalayan Art Council, she is a key member of the curatorial team, helping preserve Nepal’s artistic legacy, build trust through authentication, and bring the stories of Himalayan art to audiences around the world.
